Peloton Partnering - Ideal Startup Investment
Peloton Partnering is a platform for a community of life sciences industry professionals committed to finding solutions for global health challenges through innovation- the process of inventing and implementing useful goods and services. Named for the group of bicycle racers who benefit from each other’s momentum, Peloton matches organizations, whether for-, low, or not-for-profit, having product development needs to pro bono advisers with product and business development expertise. The result will be small, temporary working groups that will address specific problems in a product’s development, conserve the organization’s resources, and improve the chance for a successful outcome.
Participation will be voluntary and without cost, obligation, or liability. The participating organizations (also called ventures) may be any individual with an institutional affiliation or an entity intending to develop a product for a global health disease (treatment, diagnostic, or vaccine) and seeking expertise to meet its goals, e.g., establish proof of concept, generate data to justify continued funding, create sufficient value in a product to attract a licensee, or find partners for product development, manufacture, or distribution.
The participating professionals (also called advisers) will have experience in managing or conducting product development (e.g., design and execution of POC experiments, ADME/tox, clinical trials) or with business development or sales and marketing expertise.
