USTAR (Utah Science and Technology Research Initiative) is a Utah State funded economic development program that works with Utah companies based on USTAR Research Team technology. USTAR's goal is to strengthen Utah's "knowledge economy" and generate high paying jobs by maximizing economic impact of new technologies throughout the state. USTAR does this by brokering relationships between researchers, investors, entrepreneurs, inventors, and industry experts. USTAR also offers a wide range of consulting services including business plan development, financial strategy and market analysis.
