Once you subscribe, your plan can be promoted 3 different ways. On the Application Monitor, you can see the number of investors that have clicked through to view your deal. You can see the ratings you have received and can reply to comments left by investors. You can also see the number of dashboard impressions your plan receives as well as the number of e-mails that your plan is included in.

Application-Monitor 

On the right-hand side is the newsfeed, where you can see all investor activity on your application. Investors rate submissions to bring the best opportunities to the top of the investor community. They may choose to share comments on your deal, which you can reply to (read more about ratings and comments here). If an investor is interested, they will refer your deal to their Angelsoft account for further review. Angelsoft is used by VC funds and angel groups to manage all their deals, not just those from Open Deals. When an investor refers your deal to their group’s Angelsoft account, all of the partners and the General Manager are notified by e-mail. That deal shows up at the top of the “new submissions” list–the first thing that members of the group will see next time they log in. You will be notified by e-mail of the referral. When you log into the Application Monitor you’ll see that you have a new section for this group, which includes a deal-specific e-mail address. This allows you to communicate with the investor that referred your deal, along with the General Manager of the group.
