Daniel R. Horak is the North Dakota field agent at the UND Center for Innovation for the state's angel funds. Dan is attending grad school at the University of North Dakota in pursuit of an MBA with focus in Entrepreneurial Finance. Since 2008, he has been an active member of the Dakota Venture Group and serves as the VP of Business Development for the fund. Dan assisted the fund in providing due diligence work, providing input on prospective investments, facilitating investment in deals, helped with syndication and facilitates the current entrepreneur updates with investors. In his first few years of college Dan invested in four houses starting as a Freshman which he currently owns and manages as rental properties near the University of North Dakota. Dan appreciates all the the opportunities and learning experiences ahead of him, and looks forward to meeting those challenges head on. He is originally from Rosemount MN (Minneapolis Area). He is 23 years old. Recently a graduate from the University of North Dakota with a degree in Entrepreneurship.
