Hollis McGuire, CPA, MBA, serves Southern NH companies as the Nashua Region Small Business Development Center Director. In this role, she directs and provides counseling to hundreds of area companies each year, supporting economic development.
She started with Coopers & Lybrand in Boston in the Small Business Group, and worked in private industry as an accounting and finance manager, and then as a product and program manager. She co-founded McGuire & Stebbins CPA’s focusing on high technology companies in early 1994, and sold the company in 2000. She then ran the CFO consulting division, supporting high technology companies from conception through buy out.
Hollis has taught accounting, finance and business management. She is on the Board of directors of the New Hampshire High Technology Council. She is the Chair of the NH Speed Venture Summit, and former Chair of the NH MIT Enterprise Forum. She started Northeast Angels in 2005.
Hollis was named one of six “2006 Outstanding Women in Business” in New Hampshire.
She has an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Connecticut and is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She speaks frequently on New Hampshire capital and business issues, and has authored many articles.

Northeast Angels is an early-stage investment group which works with entrepreneurs and businesses located in the Northeast. Specifically NeA focuses on opportunities located around the business corridor between Manchester and Nashua, New Hampshire including surrounding communities. While we prefer deal opportunities located within driving distance of Nashua, NH, we will consider investments in the greater New England area. We also welcome deals referred by other angel groups or venture capital groups participating in greater New England investments.
