Stephanie's 20+ career prior to becoming an investor was in financial services in Sydney, London and New York. The majority of her career was with J.P. Morgan where she headed several global businesses. She retains board directorships with public companies Foster Wheeler and Riskmetrics Group, and with privately-held Artemis Woman. She holds a B.A. from the University of Sydney. More Peggy Wallace, Managing Director and General Partner of the Golden Seeds Fund, is the Portfolio Manager for Golden Seeds. Peggy’s primary focus is working with companies post investment and tracking their performance. Peggy also serves as Golden Seeds’ liaison to the VC community and other potential funding partners for portfolio companies. Peggy’s 20 + year career prior to becoming an investor was in financial services. The majority of her career was with J.P. Morgan/Chase where she specialized in structured finance, risk management, and financial services M&A. Peggy is on the board of private company Chromis Fiberoptics and gDiapers. She holds a B. A. from The George Washington University.
Kindra Tatarsky Managing DirectorKindra Tatarsky is the Golden Seeds Managing Director of Operations. She manages the processes and day-to-day operations of Golden Seeds, including deal flow, screening, due diligence and investment processes. A key focus is ensuring quality deal flow and working with companies and members to facil... More Kindra Tatarsky is the Golden Seeds Managing Director of Operations. She manages the processes and day-to-day operations of Golden Seeds, including deal flow, screening, due diligence and investment processes. A key focus is ensuring quality deal flow and working with companies and members to facilitate an expedited process for all parties involved. Kindra also oversees external communications and PR, and supports the managing members wtih the Portfolio and overall growth strategies. Kindra's 17 year career has been in the research and investment business, working first with public consumer companies and more recently with private growth stage companies. In addition to her role with Golden Seeds, Kindra works as a consultant to early stage companies, and is currently involved with a number of private consumer companies. She holds a B.A. from UCLA and holds a CFA certification.

Golden Seeds - Ideal Startup Investment
We typically invest in businesses that meet the following criteria:
* The company has a woman founder who maintains a C-level operating position with the company (usually she is the CEO or COO) * The management team is well rounded and has strong business experience, particularly in the sector in which the product is being placed. * The market size is large enough to present an addressable market of a minimum of $1bn. * The product and the business model are scalable. * The product is in beta (versus alpha) stage of development and has been developed with input from clients or potential clients. * The company has at least one or two paying clients. * There are some tangible barriers to entry for competitors or potential competitors, such as an intellectual property portfolio. * There must be a clear exit strategy. * The company is a C corporation (if you are currently an LLC, you may still apply, but you must be willing to convert to a C corp). * The company’s valuation is typically less than $5m, particularly if it is a pre-revenue company. * Brokers: Please note that we do not work with brokers.
