Billiken Angels - Ideal Startup Investment
Started in 2008, the Billiken Angels Network looks for businesses with a connection to Saint Louis University. For details, see http://billikenangels.angelgroups.net/about-us/slu-dna/. For businesses with SLU DNA, BAN will consider deals in all industries and all stages for funding. We are offering a workshop on "Financing Your St. Louis Start-Up" on December 4th. Details are available at www.slu.edu/x33015.xml.
For alumni, faculty, staff and SLU-IP based businesses we are looking for investments of $50,000 to $500,000. For businesses owned by current SLU students, the minimum investment from our "NextGen Entrepreneur" program is $5,000.
While we are always interested in firms offering high returns and fast exits, we are unlike typical angel groups in that we are also open to businesses in which our investment can significantly increase revenues (50% increase or more) and provide above market returns over a long term.
Thanks for your interest in the Billiken Angels Network.
